NO-HARM BUTTON ART CHALLENGE

The following awards provide an opportunity to demonstrate how buttons and buckles can be used in a wide variety of applications.  The focus is on the resulting harmony, artistry, and creativity shown by the item created.  The value or rarity of the buttons or buckles used is not a factor in these awards.

This is a No-Harm challenge-- buttons and buckles may not be intentionally damaged in the creative process, but previously compromised examples or parts may be used.  If an article requires a specific accessory for its display,

that accessory must be supplied with the article.  Each item must be the work of the entrant, who must be a member of the California State Button Society.  The entrant agrees that pictures of all entries may be taken and may appear in the State Button Brief.
