Brisbane GPO Postal Markings
Introducing a comprehensive survey of all the different postal implements in use at the Brisbane GPO from inception to 1912. This includes such items as datestamps, obliterators, duplexes, registered, parcel and instructional implements. This site is best used in conjunction with Hugh Campbell's publication "Queensland Postal History". I will be including information such as earliest and latest usages, rarity ratings, codes plus expanding on known implements by introducing newly discovered subtypes. Information for this site is garnered from my own specialised collection plus exhibits, auction catalogues and input from other collectors.
