File Exchange Download Instructions:
These instructions assume that you have already subscribed to eBay's File Exchange and have a File Exchange link in your
My eBay's My Subscriptions nav bar. If you have not yet subscribed to File Exchange, please see
Subscribing to eBay's File Exchange.
To get a list of all of your active eBay listing item numbers (ItemIDs in File Exchange parlance) along with some other fields
such as ItemTitle, CategoryLeafName and CategoryNumber that may be useful for identifying your listings, as well as some other
fields that likely won't help you at all:
1. Go to EBay and then your My eBay. Regardless of your My eBay default view (unless it is My Messages or Dispute Console, in
which case you should click on any other My eBay Views selection), you will see a My Subscriptions nav bar under your My eBay
Views nav bar. Click on the File Exchange link to get to the File Exchange Center.

2. Click either the Download Files link in the nav bar or the Create a Download Request link in the downloads
column.

3. Select Active from the Listings and records dropdown selection box, and leave the resulting All active listings radio
button selected. Enter your email address(es) to receive download notifications if the Email address box is blank or needs to
be changed (the box will be filled in for you on subsequent visits), then press Enter or click the Save button.

4. You should see the following screen acknowledging that eBay has received your request. Depending on the size of your file
and eBay's server traffic volume, the download processing can take anywhere from seconds to many minutes. This is an eBay
process - there is a chance that your download file will be missing listings or contain duplicate listings. You can minimize
but not eliminate this possibility by not downloading until at least an hour has passed since your last upload.

5. The email address(es) you specified will receive an email when the download file has been completely processed. There will be
a link in the email that will take you to your File Exchange View Completed Downloads page.

Whether the email has arrived or not, you can click the Completed Downloads link in the File Exchange nav bar to get to
the same View Completed Downloads page to check the file's processing status, refreshing the page until the file has been 100%
processed and the status column says File Complete.
6. On the View Completed Downloads page, click the Download link in the rightmost column, which should result in an
Excel spreadsheet opening up within your browser window that contains the downloaded CSV format file.

A shell version of Excel will likely open as well and can simply be closed. I can't tell you what will happen if you don't
have Excel or don't have the csv extension associated with Excel.
7. Save the download file. Select File then Save As... from the menu, navigate to the desired Save in folder (I use FExchg),
specify a file name in the File name box (I use FEDL for File Exchange DownLoad), then press Enter or click the Save
button.

8. Close the browser window or navigate to any web page to clear the csv spreadsheet from the browser.
This procedure can be used as part of a broader procedure to use Turbo Lister and File Exchange to bulk edit/revise your eBay
listings, with instructions at Bulk edit/revise eBay
listings.
