::Orlando Bloom::
For some stupid reason, I rebel against the insanely popular. When Fellowship of the Ring was released at the cinema, my brother and I knew nothing of the franchise and decided since it was EVERYWHERE, we were going to do everything in our power to avoid the film at all costs! We were successful, though on other message boards I visited, I saw many females talking about the films, one of the stars in particular ... and his name was Orlando Bloom. I saw a few pictures of him, and didn’t think much except, “Wow, he has a really pretty face!” I hadn’t crushed on a long, blonde-haired man in YEARS so he posed no threat, really. The pointy ears also didn’t do much for me 
. Then a day in December 2002 rolled around, and the film debuted on the STARZ! network. CJ & I weren’t watching anything else at the moment, and decided we’d see what all the fuss was about. I told him if I fell asleep, which I was SURE I was going to do since it was a THREE HOUR MOVIE, don’t wake me up!
The movie began, and I was IMMEDIATELY engrossed in the story. About an hour/hour and a half into the film, in rode the elf. I asked my brother if THAT was Orlando Bloom, the guy I’d been reading/hearing so much about, and he told me it was. My life has never been quite the same since . The Elf never did much for me, but when I saw a brunette Orlando Bloom on G4, the video game network, doing voice work for The Two Towers video game, I was affected enough to purchase the $50 video game (and I’m NOT a gamer, unless it’s one-on-one combat games), as well as 2 posters of Legolas which sat in a tube until 6 months later. It was like a crush was born ... then got forgotten about ... UNTIL pictures of Will Turner started surfacing. THAT was it FOR SURE! The rest, as it is said, is history

I am a HUGE Orlando Bloom fan, but there’s no point in me trying to make a whole website to dedicate to him. There are already tons of superb sites dedicated to Orli all over the Web. What I can do, though, is dedicate a couple of sections on my site to Orlando. One section is for the stories of my personal OB Encounters/Experiences. I’ve had the unreal privilege of seeing/meeting (whatever you’d like to call it) Orlando on 3 different occasions, and the stories and accompanying photos are now available for your perusing. I’ve been EXTREMELY BLESSED and/or lucky (depending on how you want to look at it and/or who you talk to 
), and I’m very excited to share my stories with all my fellow fans!
First off, HUGE thanks and big *HUGS* to Anna for the fantastic banners on this page. I requested them from her one night with no real idea as to what I wanted. Just knew the approximate size and what text I wanted, and just LOOK at what she was able to come up with!! Just click on the banner and you’ll be taken to the corresponding story of my OB Encounter, and I ask that you please allow adequate loading time for each page. The first 3 stories have quite a few accompanying photos, and they take a while to load, but help to bring the story alive, I think . And since I don't want anyone going in blind, I'm letting you know that the 4th story is just a REALLY REALLY long read, period. But, I hope on some level you can enjoy, and remember that any positive feedback or comments will be welcomed!
