1908th Medical Detachment CSC

The 1908th MED DET CSC is a US Army Reserve Unit from Topeka, Kansas that is charged primarily with assisting soldiers in handling Combat Stress.  Currently, they are a long ways from home, spreading six different teams through out the southern portion of Iraq south of Baghdad to provide combat stress control to our troops.

This consists of critical event debriefings, anger management, relaxation therapy, alcohol and drug classes, communication enhancement, unit cohesion, and home front issues.  Our main purpose is to provide the soldier with the abilities to reduce their individual stress and to continue on with their mission.  The mental health keeps soldiers forward and not have them fall to the rear.

This is an update of a “work in progress” based on information I have received from Iraq.  I have been offered and all accepting any and all pictures this group might like to me for inclusion.  May God Bless and protect each and everyone of brave men and women.
