Foster and Allen
Mick and Tony - The Boys Are back.

Ireland's most popular duo "Foster and Allen" are back for yet another tour - this time a 30 Day tour in September 2004, including Australia and New Zealand.

The Irish duo Foster Allen have been perfecting their Celtic stylings since the mid-'70s, earning top honors overseas and among the worldbeat charts. Tony Allen, born and raised in Mount Temple, Ireland, had been playing professional guitar since 1968, and Mick Foster, a native of County Kildare, had been playing the piano accordion since his teens. As a group, the two made their U.S. debut in 1996 with the single "After All These Years. Tour Dates

The Empire Theatre - Toowoomba - A Queensland Gem !
Empire Theatre
One of my very favourite Theatres I have worked in Australia, is the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba - It has kept all it's charm of days gone by - and is always a highlight of any theatre Tour.

Experiencing the magic of live theatre surrounded by a true work of art is the treat for audiences flocking to the beautifully restored art deco Empire Theatre in Toowoomba.

After years of neglect, the 86 year old grand lady was plucked from cinematic obscurity and transformed into a thoroughly modern performing arts theatre triumphantly reclaiming its place as Toowoomba's cultural hub.

On Saturday, June 30 1997, the Empire Theatre was reopened ushering in a new era of entertainment and performing arts on the Darling Downs.

Cruise Ship of the Month
The Veendam

The 1,258-passenger Veendam is an S-class (Statendam, Maasdam, Ryndam) ship. When you step aboard this gracious mid-size vessel, a gloved staff member warmly greets you then escorts you to your cabin – this sets the tone for Holland America’s classical style of cruising reminiscent of the great liners. Aboard Veendam you won’t find hard-partying singles and the casino empties out relatively early. But if large cabins – many with private verandas – ballroom dancing and bridge sound enticing, this ship is among the best afloat. Veendam is a mid-size ship with a higher degree of personal service than you’ll find aboard the towering megaliners.
