Our Marjorie Moon Leaves Us
But her Personality and Talent will live on in our Memories.
Marjorie Moon ..Queen of the Xylophone ..who passed away on the 1st of Septembr 2005 ...has left her family, friends , and fellow Entertainers with a gap in there lives , that will be hard to fill.
Marjorie's multi-talents and endearing personality was always a pleasure to watch on stage ..she was a show-stopper where ever she appeared ....and her standing ovations followed her to the end.
This writer had the great pleasure of Working with this great lady not so long before she passed away - And let me say , she will be very sadly missed from the Australian showbiz scene - Now I will be able to say with pride, to everyone who mentions her name - Yes! "I worked with the great Marjorie Moon"
At Marjorie's Funeral Service .. A great line up of Entertainers showed up to farewell this Beautiful Lady of the Stage , as well as Family and friends ...her send off was not only sad, but a happy time of reflection on Marjorie's
achievements throughout her life, as well as the tributes paid to her by many people in the Entertainment industry, among them Wayne Cornell delivering the Eulogy, and Jennifer Green singing her very special version of "Nobody Loves You Like We Do".
To a Recording of Marjorie playing the "Can Can" over the sound system - and a standing Ovation from all present - the curtians closed for the final time on Marjorie
