The more I dig into this "Stealth Blimp," the more interesting it becomes.
The "Phoenix Lights" and the "Belgium Triangle" will also be addressed here.
Many sightings of a low flying, slow moving, triangular shaped aircraft have been popping up everywhere. Reports of huge boomeranged-shaped crafts with wing spans over 800 feet have been spotted. Witnesses describe these aircraft performing high speed right angled turns or doing slow-speed maneuvers. Many experts have come to the conclusion that these aircraft are probably some kind of blimp aircraft used for high altitude reconnaissance or communications platform. A lot of the sightings have come from the vicinity of Groom Lake otherwise known as Area 51.
Below, I will describe two very important sightings and will compare the two.
The Illinois Sighting
At 4:00a.m. a man drove home from checking on his miniature golf course in Highlands. He got out of his truck, entered his house, and went back outside. Flying from a low altitude northeast towards the southwest, the witness saw "a floating house" with bright internal lights and red lights shining down. He went to the police department and reported what he saw. The dispatcher requested that the Lebanon Police look out for the object.
At 4:10a.m, a Lebanon police officer reported a "massive elongated triangle." The object suddenly turned and flew extremely fast toward Shiloh. There was no noise in this maneuver.
A Shiloh officer witnessed a large black "arrowhead" slowly moving in the night sky. There was no noise and the object suddenly flew about 5 miles at a very high speed.
A, Millstadt police officer sees a "fat arrowhead" flying at a low 500-1000 feet. On the craft there were white flashing strobe lights. He grabbed his Polaroid camera and snapped a picture. The object moved toward Dupo. The photos did not turn out well so he rushed back to the police station and made an unofficial police report and sketches.
At 6:50a.m, a schoolteacher driving on his way to work saw the huge craft. He was driving in Centerville, Illinois which is next to Dupo. He described an arrow shaped craft.
A similar ship had been spotted on December 26, 1999 in California.
Phoenix Lights
Almost everyone is familiar with the March 13, 1997 story of the Phoenix Lights. Thousands of people witnessed these lights hover over Phoenix. The most popular footage comes from a video by Mike Krzystan. There is another side to the story that the media hardly covers. On the same night, a huge triangular craft, similar to the one seen in Illinois, flew across the state of Arizona with similar characteristics.
At 8:16p.m, in Paulden, Arizona, a former police officer and his family witnessed a cluster of red-orange lights. The lights were in a "V" formation moving rapidly.

That same evening at 8:17p.m, witnesses in Prescott, AZ, saw a strange object. They described having seen seven lights per side and two red lights trailing. The lights were in a "V" shape, making no sound, and slowly moving.
Six people in Dewey, AZ saw a cluster of lights in a "V" shape. The craft was no more than 1,000 feet off the ground and slow moving. Other reports came in from Chino, Valley, Tempe, Gelendale, and Phoenix.
At 8:45 ground observers in Tucson spotted a craft. The craft came from the northwest and left Tucson around 9:00p.m.
A young man reported a cluster of lights near Kingman, AZ going towards Las Vegas.
The Explanation
These are a few of the accounts of an unidentified object traveling over Arizona. It is my personal opinion that the famous UFO in Phoenix was indeed flares. The people at the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix said they saw smoke emanating from the flares. There is much more evidence for the flares theory; but instead of going into great detail, I will get to the point. The flares in Phoenix were most likely a decoy for the real aircraft. The Air Force knew there was a huge object flying over Arizona. They deployed flares near Phoenix. They could use the flares as a cover story for the actual unidentified craft. No matter how many people disagreed, the Air Force insisted that there were only flares that night (no UFOs).
The question still remains: What was traveling over Arizona? The evidence shows a similar object was seen over Illinois and Arizona. Both objects have the characteristics of what is said to be the stealth blimp. Here is the evidence:
*Both were low flying, slow moving aircraft.
*The object in Illinois had red lights shining towards the ground and so did the Arizona craft.
*Both reportedly could make high speed maneuvers almost instantly
*Both were triangular or "V" shaped.
*Both crafts were gigantic in size.
What does all this mean? I have reviewed two of the major sightings of huge triangular aircraft. This is just barely scratching the surface. Crafts like these are reported all the time. I believe this is strong evidence for the existence of the stealth blimp. Maybe this kind of technology is being researched at Area 51. Could the stealth blimp be used for high altitude reconnaissance or communications platform? As more information becomes available, I will report it to you.

Black programs and Belgian triangles
At St. Louis, the home of the Boeing military aircraft and missiles plant (formerly McDonnell Douglas), he recalls that one attendee told him that some of his other friends in a local military 'black program' couldn't attend the talk because of security concerns.
"That was kind of disturbing," Miller recalls. "And kind of interesting!"
Some fellow experts he has talked with are very interested in photographs of the "Belgian triangle" seen repeatedly over Belgium a decade ago.
"They tell me it resembles a vehicle that Teledyne-Ryan had been working on," he says, "and they were way ahead of Lockheed on 'stealth' technology."
Such a subsonic reconnaissance vehicle might be the long-rumored spotter companion for B-2 missions over Russia.
Miller described the need for an aircraft to help hunt down rail-mobile Russian missiles, and such a mission would be more than enough rationale to keep its existence classified.
Follow the fuel
He himself is intrigued by recent Indiana UFO reports and the "pretty wild" rumors of stealth blimps with fake starfields displayed on their undersides.
"At this point," he admitted, "I'm paying attention."
One of the most interesting tidbits Miller has learned involves the mid-air refueling aircraft that any secret military vehicle would need.
"The SR-71 needed a special hydrocarbon fuel," he says. "And there were several modified KC-135 tankers stationed near Wichita. The fuel has a two-week shelf life and must be safely disposed of if stocks are not used quickly."
"I was told the KC-135's are still in service, and they are still making that fuel."
According to Miller, there aren't any more SR-71s flying, and they were mostly served by tankers out of Beale AFB in California, not Kansas. So why the Wichita refueling fleet?

The top secret SR-75 is a hypersonic strategic reconnaissance, or SR spy plane, and is called the Penetrator. It is also a mothership, which I will explain shortly. Hypersonic speeds start at approximately Mach 5. The SR-75 replaced the SR-71 spy plane, which was retired in 1990, by the Air Force, who said, "there is no replacement, all we really need is our spy satellites to do the job. Ha! The new SR-75 is capable of positioning anywhere in the world in less than 3 hours. It carries multi-spectral sensors, such as optical, radar, infrared, and laser. It collects images, electronic’s intelligence, signals intelligence, and illuminates targets.
The Top Secret SR-75 far exceeds the classified military speed and altitude records set by the old SR-71, which could fly at a still classified Mach 3.3 and reach a ceiling of 85 thousand feet.The SR-75 attained altitudes of over 120,000 feet and speeds exceeding Mach-5, or 5 times the speed of sound. That’s over 3300 miles per hour. From take-off to landing, the stealthy 75 can make the round trip from central Nevada to Northeast Russia and back in under 3 hours. It's 162 feet long and has a wing span of 98 feet. The belly of the vehicle stands 10 feet off the ground.
A friend said, he would never forget the sight of the alien looking TR-3B based at Papoose. The pitch black, triangular shaped TR-3B was rarely mentioned--and then, only in hushed whispers--at the Groom Lake facility where he worked. The craft had flown over the Groom Lake runway in complete silence and magically stopped above Area S-4. It hovered silently in the same position, for some 10 minutes, before gently settling vertically to the tarmac. At times a corona of silver blue light glowed around the circumference of the massive TR-3B. The operational model is 600 feet across.
The TR-3B is Code named Astra.
The tactical reconnaissance TR-3B first operational flight was in the early 90s. The triangular shaped nuclear powered aerospace platform was developed under the Top Secret, Aurora Program with SDI and black budget monies. At least 3 of the billion dollar plus TR-3Bs were flying by 1994. The Aurora is the most classified aerospace development program in existence. The TR-3B is the most exotic vehicle created by the Aurora Program. It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA. The TR-3B flying triangle is not fiction and was built with technology available in the mid 80s.Not every UFO spotted is one of theirs.
The TR-3B vehicle’s outer coating is reactive to electricalRadar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness,and color. The TR-3B is a high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesn’t take much propulsion to maintain altitude.At Groom Lake their have been whispered rumours of a new element that acts as a catalyst to the plasma.With the vehicle mass reduced by 89%, the craft can travel at Mach 9, vertically or horizontally. My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. Which is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%.
The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reaches altitudes above l20,000 feet--then God knows how fast it can go!The 3 multimode rocket engines mounted under each corner of the craft use hydrogen or methane and oxygen as a propellent.In a liquid oxygen/hydrogen rocket system, 85% of the propellent mass is oxygen. What you have to remember is, that the 3 rocket engines only have to propel 11 percent of the mass of the Top Secret TR-3B. The engines are reportedly built by Rockwell.Many sightings of triangular UFOs are not alien vehicles but the top secret TR-3B. The NSA, NRO, CIA, and USAF have been playing a shell game with aircraft nomenclature - creating the TR-3, modified to the TR-3A, the TR-3B, and the Teir 2, 3, and 4, with suffixes like Plus or Minus added on to confuse further the fact that each of these designators is a different aircraft and not the same aerospace vehicle. A TR-3B is as different from a TR-3A as a banana is from a grape. Some of these vehicles are manned and others are unmanned.

In the September 1999 issue of Popular Mechanics magazine there is an article entitled "Skunk Works Magic," written by Jim Wilson. The article is basically a history of the famed Skunk Works founded by aircraft designer Kelly Johnson, and describes many of the cutting edge aircraft produced there.
However, towards the end of the article, in a paragraph entitled "Future Planes" there is a description of a secret aircraft called the stealth blimp. I will quote the article here:
"Tales of mystery craft continue. There have been scores of sightings of a 1000-ft. long stealth blimp that supposedly carries massive phased array radar. The craft is said to disguise itself by using "optical stealth" technology that creates an image of a floating star field."
An accompanying illustration shows a large, triangular black craft, thin in profile, that looks nothing like the conventional blimps we are used to.
If this aircraft is genuine, then I would assume it is fairly slow moving and silent, [or maybe not so slow, ya know? - ED] and may be responsible for many UFO reports concerning unknown triangular black craft. I have read a number of reports recently on this list that would match its description. I am in no way attempting to say that this vehicle accounts for all those sightings, but there is a good chance it may have been the cause of several of them. An interesting Possibility to ponder in any case.
