• So you wanna be a TD in FTW? Here are a few things your trainer will be going over with you and also a couple of pages and downloads to make your experience as a td great! Welcome to our team and if you have any questions don't be shy! Just ask we will all do our best to answer! Your trainer will help set you up with a short keys/perfect keyboard/macros program depending on which program you trainer uses lol. These guidelines are not in any particular order lol, I am sure we will be making changes and tweaking this as we go! Good luck!

  • If you are a new TD this is some information for you to refer back to at anytime. When your trainer thinks you are ready you will set up your first tourney! Click Here for an example. Your first 10 are all freebies ( no entry fees) and you must have a Head Td with you for all 10 unless specified differently by your trainer. 1-5 are 0 bux entry/0 bux payout. 6-10 are 0 bux entry/baby bux payout and you can also do a TD donation. After 10 you can set up your tourneys for any entry fee up to 100 bux. We ask that you please watch the calendar and do not have 2 high bux tourneys back to back. This is so our members that do not have many bux can still play. If you are not a premium member you can do TD donations 2 times per month, Gold has 4, Platinum has 7 and Diamond has 10.
  • Please try your best to start your tourneys on time within 10 minutes if at all possible. Tourneys may overlap BUT it may cause a little confusion for our members but only because they are not used to it.
  • Do not delete any tourney. If there is something wrong with it move it to a different date and ask an admin or a head td either how to fix the mistake or how you can use this tourney in some manner and not delete it.
  • You are allowed to spam twice on messenger for your tourneys ( 1 allowed by another TD). The only exception to this is if you do not have 4 players or if you are sending an early spam for a special tourney, such as Evil vs Good tourney, or Whippersnappers vs Oldtimers, ect, ect...

    1) Seeding. You are given 4 choices. Rating,Rank,Random and
    Registration order. Here in FTW we encourage our tds to use
    Random seeding BUT it is the td's decision to use the other
    choices. If you do not choose Random, PLEASE list that on
    on your tourney.

  • Rating - Uses your FTW rating.
  • Rank - Uses your FTW rank.
  • Registration Number - Uses the order the members registered in your tourney.
  • Random - Cases seeds the players.

    • 2) Even if you are hosting a regular euchre tourney, rules
    for the tourney must be on your tourney. Use the "Post
    A Message" on Tourney Administration (bottom lower right)
    Just click on the link here for Crazy Games
    (also on main page), copy and paste them in "Post a message".
  • Our FTW rules must also be posted on the link that says
    Rules on your Tourney pages. You would go to
    Tourney Adminstration, click on Customize Tournament Rules,
    then copy and paste the codes from this link there. Click
    save as default and you are all done until we update our rules
    again!

    There are few more things that will be covered with you by your trainer. We do not expect you to remember this all at once so please save this link to refer back to for questions.
    1) Here in FTW we do all of our pairings from the report page. Now Swiss and Double Elim. are a little different but for now you will only be hosting Single elim. tourneys. After closing your tourney you would click on Round 1. Pairings are done top to bottom in pairs of 2.
    2) Timing on regular games is 10 minutes for Freezes and boots. For speed euchre it is 5 minutes.
    3) Skipping rules are in the game rules you will copy and paste on your tourney pages, please make sure you have them handy for any boo boo's.
    4) After your 5th tourney you can donate bux. You would click on Edit Tournament Info while you are in Tourney Administration.
