HOUSTON TEXAS MAY 1, 2003 - Our 'Lil 'Ol Band From Texas has a new album out called Mescalero. And it's a 'Lil hard to find right now. The RCA label release date of April 15th has changed to unknown. Regardless of the release date, it is out on the Internet, it's super excellent, yes I have heard it and here you will find my comments on the songs. You will also find the list of songs, where to find them, where to buy the CD, news on CD's already out and what they sold for on eBay, and a few other odds and ends.
I was lucky enough to be able to watch ZZ perform two of the new songs for the first time in public at the Houston Rodeo on March 4, 2003. I have a review of the concert online now as well. So, let's get to the good stuff:
