        THE WEDDING

I made my daughter's wedding dress a few years ago.    All the applique, lace, beading was applied by hand.    The fabric is an offwhite, crepe back satin, and (very expensive) Venice lace appliques which I also used to create the lace front and neckband.     I also made the veil and both the backpiece (same Venice Lace) and sidepiece.   And did all the flowers for the wedding,  including the bridal bouquet which can be seen in one of the photos.    She did, however, refuse to let me sing at the wedding.    I won't mention the number of hours involved, or grey hair,  but for about,  let's say,  $42,000,  I could do another custom wedding just like this for you .

The Keepsake quilt shown, which is also on my quilt page, was made from the fabrics and trims used in the wedding.
Please be patient while the photos load.
