This page contains a summary of the most common postal charges for Australian parcel rates. All items are carefully packed though it remains the buyers responsibility to insure their goods against possible loss or damage incurred by a third party, including Australia Post and/or other nominated carriers. Postal date will be advised though no postal receipts or tracking numbers are available for un-insured items. Please refer to the auction description for the postal weight. For some bulky items the shipping weight may not be listed and the postal cost will be determined when item/s are packed. Auction lots with a postal weight over 3 kg- please email with your postcode for exact costing if required. Items are generally sent regular un-insured parcel rate though may be posted express or registered/insured as requested. No items are sent COD. Items may combined to save on postal cost whenever possible though please email if you would like an item set aside. Items are dispatched promptly though allowance should be made for full bank updates which are non-existent from 6PM Friday until Tuesday. For postal destinations other than Australia please refer to the international shipping page link located on the relevant auction page.

Note. Australia Post uses deemed weight to calculate postal rates for larger bulky items over 1kg. Postal costs are determined by volume and for bulky items over 1kg post rates will be specified at end of auction after packing has been completed unless listed in the description.

Parcel post satchel Aust wide except for NSW and the ACT.
These rates will apply for all states and the NT except N.S.W. and A.C.T. which will vary from $7.45 - $9.10 up to 3kg. Due to satchel size limitations, packaging and special labeling many items are sent standard parcel post.

Insurance/registered post

Payment. Direct transfers (on-line or over the counter), money order, bank or personal cheques and registered cash. Registered post and insurance is optional for the majority of items when using these payment options. Please allow clearance/postal time for cheque payments. Payment details including direct deposit account numbers are sent directly to all buyers within 48hrs (usually 24hrs) after auction ends and may also be found on the Oztion site. All PayPal Transfers. PayPal payments are accepted for Australian transactions with the following conditions as listed below.

Minimum single transaction total is $50.00 AUD for any PayPal transfer.
Items shall be dispatched by registered and/or insured standard parcel post or express post to enable tracking and proof of post. Please advise if PayPal is required post listing within Oztion correspondence so the PayPal payment address can be forwarded with the standard details and options.

Item Descriptions/Condition/Photos. Representations to origin, date, age, period, provenance or quality of any lot is an opinion only. Many items are of an age or nature which precludes their being in pristine condition. Some antiques and collectable's have received restoration, whilst others may require it. Item descriptions together with photos are given as a guide and may not make reference to every defect. If an item has been restored or repaired it will be noted in the item description. Unless listed as "mint" or "as new" items including books may be considered pre-owned and will generally show some form of use/wear. Photos are a compromise between detail and downloading speed. Should you find the need for a more detailed photo/s within reason, please email.

Guarantee/Insurance/Post cost. All items are described in good faith and are guaranteed as described. Should you find an inadvertent error has been made then a full electronic refund including outward postal cost is available provided the item is returned in original condition and packaging. For insurance purposes registered mail rates are listed above. No charge is made for packaging/materials or handling unless special requirements, IE double boxing or non-stock packing materials are requested or required. Mistakes do occur, thankfully not too often though please advise if something goes a miss so it can be rectified. Thank you.

Questions and messages regarding all listings. For the quickest response please email directly with regards to item descriptions, past and present listings or any queries relating to post auction correspondence. All questions regarding present or past listings shall be answered promptly by using the link below or though the appropriate listing site. Questions sent through ebay's message system will not be entertained. Thank you.

Winning bidders. To enable a prompt transaction with the minimum of fuss, please forward item/s name or number, your current listed postal details and any special requests including insurance if required. Item/s shall be posted standard un-insured parcel post if registered and or insured mail is not requested in initial correspondence. I will then be able to give you an accurate postal cost and will supply you with the information you will require to complete the transaction. Note: PayPal transfers insured only. Item/s shall be posted when I receive confirmation of postal details. Listed postal details have been out of date or incorrect and occasionally buyers require items to be sent elsewhere so please confirm postal details asap after listing ends to insure prompt delivery to the correct address. To date 100% arrival rate (over 3,500 items both Oztion and ebay), sent mostly un-insured, a small percentage (approx 1%) are delayed with Aust Post. Most items sent are double labeled, all are sent with a return address. Best insurance is to confirm full "up to date" postal details post auction. Thank you.

Feedback. For customers purchasing from Finelines for the 1st time similar feedback shall be reciprocated after it has been left. A brief courtesy email to confirm the safe arrival of item/s would be appreciated. For returning customers positive feedback is usually posted soon after payment has been confirmed. PayPal transfers. Due to on-going and various ebay-paypal policy changes feedback is now posted after confirmation of safe arrival has been confirmed.
