Naga the Serpent, Lina Inverse's Most Powerful and formidable opponent! Naga is a sorceress who follows Lina around like feces sticks to a goldfish. Although she repeatedly gets abused by Lina's poorly aimed Dil Brands, Naga is quite capable of her own powerful spells. Naga has created more original spells than any other character in the series, and applies them in creative and useful ways. Her level of power is comparable to Lina's at the time of their alliance (with the exception of what was Lina's most powerful spell at the time, the Dragon Slave). In fact, Naga's power could be considered even greater if she would take the time to perfect the powerful spells that she's created. (A few of them are incomplete - a fatal flaw that can be attributed to her ego. Could it be that she feels she doesn't need to bother perfecting them?) Lina and Naga fight together as often as they fight each other, and it is during their duels that it is most apparent that they're almost evenly matched. However, I will concede that Lina outsmarts Naga time after time, thereby defeating her in battle.
Naga is the sister of Amelia Saillune, and Daughter of Prince Philionel Saillune. As a child, she lived at the Saillune castle, studying the art of white magic. Apparently, an assassin by the name of 'Booley' infiltrated Saillune castle with the intentions of killing Naga. Unfortunately, he mistook the Queen for Naga, and slew her in front of Naga and Amelia. This explains Naga and Amelia's reluctance to use conventional weapons, and Naga's fear of blood. Naga found her bikini costume in her mother's closet after her murder, and has worn it ever since.
Shortly after her mother's death, Naga left the castle to study other forms of magic and make a name for herself, and eventually found her way into Lina's life and our hearts.
Specialty: Naga specializes in Summoning Magic, and also has a wide knowledge of White magic and Water Shamanist Magic. Her secondary specialty is a titanic ego and a laugh that can scare villagers from miles away. (No joke)
