Today, we unveil the NEW COLD ELECTRIC SONG, aloall their encouragement. However, ANYONE can listen to the song on our myspace page (no membership required). To download the song through demonoid, click here. Also, the song will be posted on this website very soon for those of you who don't use BitTorrent.

The cold electric album is featured on the home page of Demonoid. This exposure has resulted in 4,000 hits to our website in a single day. Also there have been over 1,000 downloads of the album in a single day. Thanks so much to everyone who has assisted this movement; your support has been so incredibly encouraging and we'll never forget the love you showed us : ) Music is dead without listeners.

Today marks the release of Cold Electric's debut full-length album! The self-titled work contains 13 tracks, and contains my favorite songs yet! All the beats were composed, produced, recorded, and engineered by cold electric - myself (mike), Nick, and Nishat. Ralph will be joining us on the drums for live gigs in the near future. Also, cold electric records will soon be hosting several more artists' work via this website. Be sure to check the music downloads page frequently! Its Free!

Happy New Year! 2008 will be a big year for cold electric. I have been studying petroleum engineering at University of Texas here in Austin for the last 3 and a half years. I'm less than 30 hours away from my degree, but I have decided I MUST take some time off. Oil money is great, but it isn't enough to get me out of bed in the morning. Music is happiness, to quote Octopus Project. So I won't be taking any classes this semester; instead I'll be focusing much more on music. My friend Nish, who has jammed and recorded with me for the last couple years, has committed to support the cold electric cause. Another close friend of ours, Nick, has likewise decided to join forces. We'll be recording and preparing a set to be played live in the near future. Very exciting. Cold electric is on the come-up.

Cold electric to perform LIVE at the Fricano's Deli 1-year Anniversary Party on Aug. 18th! I've hung out at the deli a lot over the last year and these are great people. So if you're interested, you should come by the Deli on 7/18/07, located on 31st and Speedway! There will be a few bands playing, not to mention great food. I hear there may be some BBQ action. In general, any time you're in Austin, you need to grab a meal at Fricano's Deli. They feed me often. I've enlisted the support of a few friends and fellow musicians for this gig: Josh will play bass and Ralph will play drums. These guys play together in a band called Salmonella Rex, which will play immediately after cold electric on August 18th. Also, Juniour will be laying down a few verses for a song or two of our set. Be there.

I've been pumping out music with the help of Nishat, Juniour, and my roomie Chris, among others. Its all produced with a macbook using Garageband in conjunction with Logic Pro and Traktor. No record deals; we make money doing shows. Some short-term goals:
